The next morning, both Kosu and Jinpei received emails.

Kosu received an email from the Adventurer's Guild. He quickly read the email from Sakura, feeling a sense of urgency rising within him. She had requested his help with a matter that required discretion, and that meant trouble. He knew that he had to go alone, as bringing Jinpei with him would only complicate things.

Jinpei received an email from the City Hall. When reading the email, his expression darken.

"What's the matter?" Kosu asked.

Jinpei signed. "The city hall summoned me. The town's dungeon somehow has disappeared last night. And they think I should be blamed for this disappearance".

"What? That's ridiculous!" Kosu exclaimed.

"I know, but they're investigating it, and I have to go there and explain everything," Jinpei said, looking worried.

Kosu put his hand on Jinpei's shoulder. "I would like to go with you, but I have urgent business need to handle right now. Will you okay?"

Jinpei sadly reply. "I will."

They then quickly prepared and headed to their destination.

As Kosu left his apartment and made his way to the designated meeting spot, he couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. He scanned the area for any signs of danger but found nothing out of the ordinary. Kosu arrived at the designated location to meet Sakura, a senior member of the Adventurer's Guild. She was waiting for him in a secluded corner of the park.

"Kosu, I'm glad you came," Sakura greeted him with a serious expression. "We have a serious situation on our hands."

"What is it?" Kosu asked, his heart pounding in his chest.

"It's about the disappearance of the town's dungeon," Sakura said, her eyes darting around nervously. "The Adventurer's Guild has reason to believe that it was not a natural occurrence. We suspect foul play."

Kosu's eyes widened in shock. "What do you mean? Who would do something like that?"

Sakura shook her head. "We're not sure yet. But we need your help to get to the bottom of it. Will you join us?"

Kosu hesitated for a moment, but then nodded firmly. "Of course. Whatever you need."

Sakura smiled. "That's what I wanted to hear. Meet me at the guild headquarters tomorrow, and we'll make a plan."

Meanwhile, Jinpei was being grilled by the city hall officials, who were convinced that he had something to do with the disappearance of the town's dungeon. They were convinced that he had something to do with the disappearance of the dungeon, and no matter how much he protested, they refused to believe him.

Feeling frustrated and helpless, Jinpei left the city hall and wandered aimlessly through the streets. As he turned a corner, he saw a group of people gathered around a small stage, where a street performer was juggling fire.

Intrigued, Jinpei approached the crowd and watched in awe as the performer deftly manipulated the flames. He was so mesmerized that he didn't notice someone bumping into him.

"Hey, watch where you're going," a gruff voice growled.

Jinpei turned to face a burly man with a scarred face. Before he could apologize, the man grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against a nearby wall.

"Give me your money," the man demanded, pulling out a knife.

Jinpei froze in fear, his mind racing with thoughts of what could happen. Suddenly, he felt a strange sensation in his chest, as if something inside him had stirred to life.

To his surprise, a small dragon-like creature emerged from his body, growling fiercely at the mugger. The creature's eyes glowed with a fiery intensity, and its scales shimmered in the dim light.

The mugger hesitated for a moment before lunging at the creature with his knife. But the creature was too quick, dodging the attack and slashing at the mugger with razor-sharp claws.

Within seconds, the mugger lay crumpled on the ground, defeated by the tiny creature. Jinpei looked at the creature in amazement, realizing that this was the familiar he had bonded with in the dungeon.

"Thanks, Drake", Jinpei thanks his familiar as he picked up the creature. "You save me."

He realized that he had a newfound sense of courage and confidence. With a smile on his face, he knew that he could face anything that came his way.
