Kosu and the team chased after Dr. Kuro through the winding tunnels of the icicle dungeon. They were so focused on their pursuit that they didn't notice the thin layer of crystal covering the ground, and before they knew it, they had fallen into a deep, dark pit filled with shining crystals. As they looked up, they saw that the pit was actually a cavern ceiling covered with a layer of glittering ice.

Kosu groaned in pain as he tried to stand up. His right leg was injured from the fall, and he couldn't put any weight on it. They tried to climb back up, but the walls were too slick, and they kept sliding back down. Just as they were about to give up hope, they heard a faint whispering sound. They followed the sound and found themselves in front of a hidden cavern.

As they entered, they saw a tribe of people with pointed ears and blue skin, who were startled to see them. The villagers, seeing that Kosu and the team were hurt, tended to their wounds and offered them shelter.

In one of their house, Kosu and the team introduced themselves, and the tribe's chief, an old man with a long white beard, welcomed them.

"We are the people of the icicle dungeon," the chief said. "We have been living here for generations. We know this place like the back of our hand, and we can help you find your way out."

As the tribe tended to Kosu's wound, they shared with him the legends of a hero and his dragon.

The chief nodded gravely. "It is said that a long time ago, a hero and his dragon fought together to protect this land from evil. The dragon was a mighty creature, but it was also very dangerous. It had the power to absorb the magic from nature, and it could only be controlled by a person with a strong will."

He paused, then continued. "But this bond came with a price. The dragon would slowly consume its host, until there was nothing left but a shell. That's why our ancestors created a herb that can break the bond between the human and the monster. But it's a dangerous quest, and many have failed to retrieve it."

Kosu and the team were shocked to hear this. Kosu couldn't help but think about Jinpei and his dragon familiar, Drake. The story seemed to be related to Jinpei's condition. The team then came to the conclusion that Drake was the Alpha Monster that had absorbed the dungeon's heart. And by bonding with Drake and letting it reside within Jinpei's body, it led to his current situation, but they knew they had to find a way to save Jinpei. The chief then instructed them on how to find the herb and warned them of the dangers that lie ahead.

"The "Separation grass" herb grows in the heart of the dungeon, the herb is known to sever the ties between humans and Alpha monsters." the chief said. "But to get there, you must pass through the Crystal Cavern, where the Alpha monsters reside. They are dangerous creatures, and only the bravest of warriors can survive their attacks. But if you succeed, you will find the herb and bring it back to us."

Kosu and the team knew it was a perilous journey, but they were determined to save Jinpei. They thanked the chief and set off towards the Crystal Cavern, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
