As we can see the information recording today is mostly typed rather than written by hand. This is understandable as modern technology is evolving and we do not have too much time to record the amount of information and knowledge of humanity. But that doesn't mean we should be typing instead of handwriting, because both methods are equally useful.

The most similarity of both handwriting and typing helps us to record the information that we need to remember. And whether it is handwriting or typing, it will create individual highlights that can help others distinguish the author of the article and show off each person's literary level.

But in comparison, each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. With our smartphones and laptops, we're typing on keyboards more frequently than writing by hand. Typing has become our popular method of writing for everything from work emails to personal jobs. Typing can be faster and more convenient, but if you do not write regularly, it may be more difficult to extract meaning from text and interpret the context of words and phrases.

Though a little more time consuming, handwriting activates parts of your brain involved in thinking and working memory, and allows you to store and manage information. The movement associated with the pen and your hand can help you encode and retain information long-term. It allows you to think more thoroughly about the information you're recording than when you typing. It encourages you to expand upon your thoughts and form connections between them.

Overall, handwriting and typing are both valid note-taking methods, and each can be preferable in different situations, as they both have their advantages and disadvantages. Since both methods are useful, we should divide clearly when to type and when to write by hand to facilitate our work.
