 Surprisingly, the school's gate is not locked even though everybody is in their summer break. Donghyuck walked in cautiously, he made sure to look left and right in case Mark will scare him because that's how an idiot like him thouht enitertaiment is.

Then, a sudden 'ding' from his phone caught the younger off guard.

later, when you entered the building and go straight to the library. hurry, or else who you really are will get exposed.

 MK? Donghyuck's eyebrows raised by the appearence of the nickname. What is Mark on today, why are they role playing out of the blue? The younger puckered his lips and send a response.

wtf mark, you disappered all day and now let me deal with this bull? and btw, when did you saved this contact in my phone??? just come out so we can go home hyung.

tick tock donghyuck, the sun is going down. aisle seven.

 The brunette groaned. His mood is already when he left Jeno's house, being all grumpy and insecure because of Mark and he really doesn't want to put up with the older's riddiculous act anymore but his legs doesn't agree with his thought and start running down the hallway to find the specific room that is filled with his old horror.

 Pushing the door open, Donghyuck finds the 7th aisle and as soon as he passed it, a text popped up.

stop. now go find "the circle of life"

 Donghyuck scoffed, "Mark Lee, I know you're in here! I can't do this with you. I don't know why you want to suddenly reeanact that fucking stupid d..."

ooh la la, tempting
maybe i should reveal myself so i can please you.

 He doesn't know where is thing sudden anger came from but it's so unfair. Mark is usually caring and know when to stop but on this particular day, he just really want to push all of his buttons. Donghyuck run fingers through his hair and tries to stay composed before eyeing the bookshelf and spot the "wanted" book a few minutes later. It's placed under his eye-level a little bit so the guy have to bend down a little. And when he pulls the book out, he is met with

A clown on the other side.

 Donghyuck lets out a loud scream and stumbled back because of the shock and fell down his back. Scumbag. The boy cruses under his breath and when he hear the rushing footsteps from the other coming to him, he didn't even hesitate and throw the book right to Mark, hitting the Canadian and earned a small huff without looking.

 "You're the worst", Donghyuck exclaimed and hide his face in small palms, trying to catch his breath and wipe away the tears that have pricked his eyes.

 "I know I do and that's why I put on this clown suit", The older replied and kneel down to him, his heart tugged of guilt when sees the younger is actually crying. He shoved th book on Donghyuck's lap, "So can you do me the last favor of reading the book out loud"

 The brunette's head shot up. Something in him flipped. "Read what out loud now? Mark Lee, why don't you get it? I don't want to play games anymore, I'm tired of being spun around by you. Are you really that dense or do you really don't know my feelings for you? I am hurt when you make me nothing more but a flatmate to everybody but then said you like me in the rain! I'm questioning right now if I'm out of my mind or MK is actually who you are"

 Mark stayed silent. Donghyuck is full on sobbing and when he reached the boy, he was shoved away with a "Don't fucking touch me".

 "Can you please read it for me Hyuck?"

 "You're still not getting the point ar-"; "Just read the fucking book"

 Donghyuck swallowed harshly and open the book. Unforseen, inside of the book is not typed out work but Mark's handwriting on the piece of paper. When he started to read what's on it, the older's voice also goes along.

 "First of all, I'm sorry for taking so long to tell you this. It's not like I'm too dense to realise that you're waiting for me to say the cheesy 'i love you', or ignored what people told me to do, I was just thinking. I was thinking how to this, should it be a romantic dinner, a day at the park or should I just propose out in public like how all the popular videos on Youtube. Yes, that'll all be amazing stories to tell in the later and probably what you dreamed of but what I want is to make this the most 'us' thing as possible because I'm neither of the things that I just listed: I'm a chicken that have never been in a relationship, suck at planning out things and have anxiety attack whenenver people's eyes are on me"

 "I guess me in the past life must have been a superhero because I was rewarded with your love in this life. Unfortunately for you Hyuck, I'm sorry because I have a person with too many flaws and have to hide after something to express my feelings. I know I've caused you a lot of pain and took from you too much tears"

 Mark then held the younger's chin and gently lift Donghyuck's face up. 

"You as a clown is the ugliest thing I have ever witnessed in my life", the younger managed to put out an insult and Mark laughed breathily as a response.

 "I'm everything that you told me: stupid, ridiculous and the worst. I'm a clown, I'm a joke but I'm also the one that fell hard for you. So Lee Donghyuck, can you give me a chance to be with you?", he said, softly. His hand find its way to the younger's neck and whispered, "Please?"

 Donghyuck scrunched his nose but a small smile is now presented on his face. "I told Jeno that I'm so desprate that even if  you  confess  when youhas greasy hair with dirty boxers on with a box of half-eaten chocolates and Iwill still be more than happy to say yes to you. But in a clown suit might even be worse now"

 "What? But I----"; "Sike"

 The boy giggles and pull Mark in for a kiss. Not a rough one but a soft, comforting one that could tame their fast beating hearts. They have waited so long for this and it's finally happended.

 Things will only get better from here, they have each other now.

 i didn't mean to write the whole confession thing at first because at that time and place of the original book, i feel like mark and donghyuck's relationship hasn't developed enough to be boyfriends. but it seemed like many of you guys were unsatisfied with it so i wrote these extras in the later timeline when they have both bonded enough. i hope that you guys have enjoyed the book and let's see each other on my other works.
