Diavel: The Boss is armed with an axe and a buckler. He has four health bars, and when the last one is in the red, he switches to a curved sword-type weapon called a Talwar. His attack pattern changes too.

Showing Altair, Ezio, and Connor know Kobold's weapon changed after the beta, they knew they can't do anything to tell them.

Connor: Man, they didn't know that the boss's weapon changed.
