Many years after the great Tenma War, everything was back to normal in the Jura Tempest Federation.

And right now, Rimuru, the king of this country, is sighing in his office.

"Haizz... finally done." Rimuru sigh, looking at the piles of papers piled up in the room.

Suddenly, he remembered something and quickly asked Ciel.

<<Hey Ciel, how is my nihility energy storage going? is it enough to open the dimensional portal to another world?>>

<<Report: already qualified to open the dimensional portal but----->> Ciel hadn't finished her sentence when Rimuru immediately cut her off.

<<Great, then let's go!!!>> Rimuru said excitedly.

<<But master, with your current energy level, you won't be able to fight off the enemy com from another world if you encounter them.>>

<<Aww~ c'mon! The last time I went to another world, even after time travel but nothing happened. Please just let me go for a while. I've done all my work.>> Rimuru begged Ciel.

<<.....Fine. then I'll choose a world with a low energy level and similar to your old world then>>

<<Yeah!!! Thank you, Ciel, you are the best!>>

<<Haizz....>> Ciel sighed, her voice sounding somewhat tired.

Master ignored her warning, he was slowly lowering his guard.

Outside of this world, there are infinite possibilities, and that includes the existence of entities like Veldanava or being from outside the regular system. 

Those entities rarely encounter each other, but if that happens, a war of destruction may take place.

But even so, why did Ciel accept Rimuru-sama's request to go to another world?

Because she had a PLAN.

Even if Ciel could explain it to Lord Rimuru and he would accept that reason. However, having something to show him danger would have a greater impact.

Ciel quickly analyzes the other worlds to find the one she wants.

There was a world that caught Ciel's attention.

Inside the portal is a space-time tunnel that connects two worlds. It will give Ciel more time to analyze and make sure the world they come to will be safe.

And as always, it was a tunnel with only black and nothing else.

Even light from other dimensions could not enter this tunnel.

Only strong enough beings could survive and be conscious in this place.

After waiting for a while in the space-time tunnel, Ciel suddenly warns Rimuru.

<<Warning: detected an unidentified entity. Conducting analysis.>>

After hearing Ciel's report, Rimuru realized that a humanoid entity had appeared in front of him.

The entity had a distorted body, its whole body covered with noise, which made its gender, form, and even facial expressions unrecognizable.

Rimuru immediately raised his guard and summoned his god-class sword.

Looking at the being, its entire body was covered in noise, making Rimuru unable to see its true identity.

and there was also a presence of unfamiliar energy radiating from the being.

When Rimuru realized the entity wasn't hostile, he spoke to the being in front of him.

"Isn't it rude to hide your identity for the first time when meeting someone else?" Rimuru said and tried to hide his alertness.

After Rimuru opened the conversation with the being, a weird voice rang out.

The sound of the voice is distorted, and its gender and tone are unrecognizable.

"Ara~ Ara~, don't be so nervous. Isn't it also rude to point your sword at someone when you first meet them?" the being in front of Rimuru spoke out.

The two of them still kept their distance and just stared at each other.

Neither of them knew the other's strength, so no one dared to hastily do anything to the other.

<<Ciel! What is that thing?>>

<<Answer: The one in front of you is a primordial spirit.>>

<<PRIMORDIAL!?>>

<<That's a right master. However, this spirit is unlike the spirit of our world. The energy that the individual radiated was something I had never seen before. Please give me more time so I can analyze it.>>

After talking with Ciel, Rimuru continued to look at the spirit in front of him.

Thought that the two would look at each other longer, but then the spirit in front of Rimuru let out a small giggle and said.

"Both of us won't talk if it stays like this. So let me introduce myself. I'm <Phantom>, a spirit and you are--" The spirit in front of Rimuru introduced itself and extended its hand to Rimuru. as if to signal Rimuru to introduce himself.

To buy more time, Rimuru follow Phantom's signal and introduced himself.

"I'm Rimuru, and you called yourself spirit just now, right?"

Hearing Rimuru's question, Phantom just smiled lightly and replied.

"That's right. Is there something wrong? "

"Well, I see that you're not just an ordinary spirit, am I right?"

Rimuru can see that his words surprised Phantom somewhat when there're no response from Phantom for a while, but then Phantom continued to speak.

"Fufu, I don't know how you know, but letting someone like you come into my world is a bit....." Phantom stopped mid-sentence.

When Phantom stopped, Rimuru immediately raised his guard and prepared for what was about to come.

"<Ain Soph Aur>!(Sanctuary of All Things In Creation)" Phantom said those words and immediately after that.

A huge flower appeared. And at the center of that flower, a figure of a young girl seemed to be praying with her hands clasped. 

A majestic scene.

(Phantom is still using the noise to hide her identity so this is just for visualization)

Although he couldn't see Phantom's expression, Rimuru felt like Phantom was smirking at him.

"BLOOM!" phantom voice rang out.

And right after that, Rays of light were emitted from the flower, and Rimuru sensed danger from those rays.

Rimuru doesn't know what those lights do but he wouldn't want to get hit by them.

Quickly using thought acceleration, Rimuru starts dodging.

Since this was a space-time tunnel, reality in this place was very fragile, if Rimuru used too much of his strength, he could collapse the entire tunnel and be drifted to another dimension.

Even with thought acceleration, the light was still moving very quickly, making dodging difficult for Rimuru.

<There's no way to dodge that kind of attack in this little tunnel!!!> Rimuru screamed internally.

The light from the flower gradually spread and reached Rimuru, but---

Did nothing happen?

Confused but Rimuru didn't show any panic and calmly handled the situation. 

Since Rimuru hadn't launched an attack yet, Ciel was currently analyzing the entity in front of him and will come up with a strategy soon.

Rimuru turns his gaze toward Phantom.

Phantom just stared at Rimuru when Phantom saw Rimuru was unharmed by those lights.

Although he couldn't see Phantom's face, Rimuru could tell that Phantom was surprised.

Taking advantage of Phantom's surprise, Rimuru charged at Phantom as fast as he could, and when he was close enough, Rimuru unleashed a slash at Phantom's body.

Phantom noticed that Rimuru was coming closer, Phantom reacted and stepped back to dodge Rimuru's slash.

But Rimuru's slash was still fast enough to reach Phatom's noise layer, causing part of the noise layer to be cut off to reveal a torn white skirt inside and some flesh.

Phantom looked at his hit spot and was surprised.

"Fufu, I didn't expect you to be able to hurt my Astral Dress, Looks like I've looked down on you," Phantom said, becoming warier of Rimuru as he was able to remove her nose.

Phantom jumped back to keep their distance from Rimuru, neutralized its noise layer, and revealed her true form.

From that layer of noise emerged the figure of a young girl.

The young girl had long hair, and she wore a beautifully elaborate dress with the same transparent color as water droplets. There are flower ornaments designed to look like cherry blossoms.

Behind her, there is a distorted halo embedded with ten stars.

Rimuru was surprised at the figure of the person who had been fighting with him until now.

Realizing his thoughts, Rimuru shook his head to regain composure and grasped the god-class sword.

Phantom just smiled lightly and raised her left hand.

Knowing that his enemy was about to do something, Rimuru prepared his stance so that he could charge forward and attack.

But before Rimuru could do anything, suddenly the space in the spacetime tunnel changed (Phantom caused a space quake in the spacetime tunnel).

The spacetime tunnel was bent and gradually collapsed.

Rimuru felt the instability of the space around him, the surrounding space was shaking violently, and the next moment---

The spacetime tunnel collapsed and teleported both Phantom and Rimuru to the nearest world.

When Rimuru noticed, the place where he was already standing was in a different world.

Both Rimuru and Phantom were standing on the same large island floating in the middle of nowhere, and around both of them, there was a strange energy like the one emanating from Phantom's body.

When he looked over at Phantom, Rimuru noticed that her face was still holding the same smile, it looked like she knew where this was.

"This is......."

"This is the neighboring world, the world exists next to the real world, where the spirits live," said Phantom, still holding a smile.

"Neighboring World....?" Rimuru said with a surprised expression.

Then, Phantom looked at Rimuru and started speaking.

"Isn't it time for both of us to end it here?" Phantom said, raising her hands to the sky.

Rimuru noticed Phantom's actions and took a ready stance, preparing for what Phantom was about to do.

"<Ain Soph>(Samsara of Paradise)" Phantom said those words and then---

A massive tree appeared, with a girl statue embedded in its trunk. The tree has been decorated with flowers and branches and has started to reshape the surrounding environment, giving it a monochrome, chessboard appearance.

"Hm? What is this?" Rimuru spoke up, seeing that his surroundings had changed.

Without saying anything else, Phantom suddenly disappeared in front of Rimuru and appeared right behind him.

Immediately realizing Phantom had teleported behind his back, Rimuru quickly turned around and attack with his sword.

But then Phantom was no longer behind Rimuru but had teleported about 5 meters away from Rimuru.

Before Rimuru could figure things out, a beam of light rose from the ground.

Rimuru quickly dodged the beams of light.

Strips of light continuously rose from the ground, giving Rimuru no time to rest.

Knowing that the surrounding space was under the opponent's control and that if the situation remained the same, Rimuru would be at a disadvantage, he immediately asked Ciel to see how things were going.

<<Ciel! How's the analysis progressing?>>

There was no response from Ciel at all.

<<Tch! There must be something going on>> Rimuru mumbled while continuing to dodge the rays of light that continued to attack him incessantly.

Rimuru decided to manipulate space himself to fight the enemy because he didn't want to let the enemy take the initiative forever.

Rimuru extended his right hand toward Phantom's direction to change the space around her.

But, for some reason, Rimuru can't manipulate space, and even skills can't be used...

Rimuru made a surprised expression while continuously dodging the beams of light.

"You are strong, aren't you?" Phantom spoke in an almost ironic voice.

"Shut up!" Rimuru yelled while dodging all the light perfectly.

"Fufu~" Phantom let out a small giggle, and then the beams of light stopped attacking Rimuru.

Rimuru turned his line of sight toward Phantom.

Phantom was currently standing opposite Rimuru. In her hand, a sword was slowly forming.

The two constantly exchange attacks.

Phantom alternated between space manipulation and sword combat to continuously attack Rimuru from all sides.

Meanwhile, what Rimuru could do was simply strengthen his body and continue the battle.

Rimuru and Phantom have been fighting each other for a while, and Rimuru is starting to feel... TIRED?

Slime shouldn't be able to feel physically tired, but why did Rimuru feel tired?

Rimuru's movement started to slow down and couldn't keep up with Phantom's speed.

Knowing that Rimuru is tired, Phantom takes a step back, keeping her distance while Rimuru is breathing heavily.

<Wait! Why am I breathing right now!?>

There must be something wrong, was it, Ciel? Is this her plan?

But then Rimuru noticed that Phantom was pointing her hand toward him.

"Don't worry, this will be painless, I promise," Phantom started as a small, palm-sized flower bud began to form on her hand.

An energy beam of particles concentrates on the flower bub until Phantom speaks up.

"<Henet> (Bud Cannon)" Phantom soft voice rang out and the flower bud releases a concentrated energy beam.

realizing the danger, but Rimuru's body was too tired to move.

But at this moment, there was a strange force acting on Rimuru's body that made Rimuru body stand up and move on its own, swinging the sword to block Phantom's attack.

Suddenly, a familiar energy radiated out from Rimuru's sword.

Nihility energy.

Noticing Rimuru's energy, Phantom jumped back quickly.

Rimuru's slash radiated nihility destructive energy and charged straight into Phantom's attack, destroyed the attack, and continued towards her.

But then suddenly that slash stopped in midair.

Rimuru had forgotten that the surrounding area was currently under Phantom's control.

Rimuru's body suddenly felt tired again and collapsed.

Although he didn't understand why he felt tired, Rimuru still managed to raise his face and look at Phantom.

Phantoms were observing nihility energy being condensed in midair.

The look on her face seemed to be a surprise that someone like Rimuru possessed this energy.

Phantom extended her hand to touch the destructive, nihilistic energy.

Rimuru thought that Phantom would get hurt by touching it, but---

Contrary to Rimuru's thoughts, Phantom touched it safely.

But Phantom's next move made Rimuru feel even more surprised.

The energy source in Phantom's hand suddenly condensed and turned into...... a crystal.

That crystal had no color at all, it was completely transparent, so transparent that without the bending of light, Rimuru wouldn't be able to see it.

But even more surprising was that the face of Phantom, who created the crystal, also had a surprised expression.

She held the crystal in her hand and looked at the circle behind her with a confused expression.

But then she turned to look at Rimuru again.

Hesitating for a moment, she took the crystal and approached Rimuru.

Noticing her approach, Rimuru tried to lift himself.

"Calm down, I won't do anything to you." With a slight smile on her face, Phantom said.

The way she said it made Rimuru feel confused.

Weren't they just fighting each other a few seconds ago?

"What do you mean?"

In response to Rimuru's words, Phantom knelt on one knee, placed a hand on Rimuru's head, and lightly stroked Rimuru's hair.

Rimuru was completely confused by the change in the attitude of the person in front of him.

Phantom gave a gentle smile and then brought her hand holding the crystal to Rimuru's hand, using her free hand to control Rimuru's hand to grasp the crystal.

Because Rimuru's current strength was, for some reason, too weak to resist, all he could do was look at Phantom with his eyes widening.

"Ciel----!" Rimuru tried to say those words in the hope that Ciel would do something.

But still, no response.

At this moment, Rimuru's hand reached the crystal and...

the crystal that was absorbed into Rimuru.

Rimuru can sense strange energy similar to Phantom's radiating through his body.

After the crystal merged into Rimuru's body, Phantom looked at Rimuru with a gentle expression and said.

"Sleep well. We'll see each other soon," Phantom said gently, placing his hand on Rimuru's head again, much to Rimuru's surprise.

This time Rimuru could perceive something similar to mental attack magic being deployed but at that moment a voice in Rimuru's head resounded.

<<Mental attack detected. Successful prevented.>>

That voice of Ciel rang out and made Rimuru feel safer.

<<Ciel, You have a lot to explain to me after this.>>

Then Rimuru's vision suddenly blurred, and Rimuru couldn't see anymore.

Rimuru's consciousness gradually darkened, and Rimuru collapsed.

Phantom gently supported Rimuru's back and gently placed Rimuru on the ground before standing up.

Phantom looked at Rimuru lying motionless on the ground and spoke to herself.

"Although there might be trouble later on... But if it's for you, I'll gladly accept it." Phantom said, then vanished.
