Shiyuki's POV
Finally, I will graduate from academy today! Who are gonna be my teammates?! I'm so excited!! I walk to the academy, humming some melody that I love.

Iruka-sensei starts to devide our class into teams. When will he let me know about my team? My heart is pounding right now!
"Team 3, Hyuga Neji, Akai Shiyuki, Rock Lee, Tenten, led by Might Guy!"
Say what? Wow! I'm on the same team with my crush Neji-kun and two of my best friends, Lee and Tenten! I'm in heaven now! Maybe I'll talk to Neji-kun as a greeting. Hope that he'll be friendly... But he is so cold though...
"H-Hey Neji-kun..."
"What? I don't talk to a pathetic person like you." He slaps me down.
"O-Okay, I'm sorry..."
Wow. He sent me from heaven to hell just within seconds. Couldn't he reply a bit politely? Guess that I have to chat with Lee and Tenten instead...
The day that I supposed to be heavenly is like hell.
Maybe my life will be like hell too.

I come back home alone as usual. If only my mother was alive... I would tell her about my bad day... She would comfort me... I look at my mother's picture.
"Mom, I become a ninja now. Are you proud of me? But my crush was cruel toward me. What should I do?"
No reply.
I sigh, go prepare dinner myself. Then eat with myself. Although I have lived on my own for years, I'm still afraid of loneliness. May someone please stay by my side... Neji-kun, it would be the best if it was you...

Today, my team gather at the academy to meet our teacher.
"GOOD MORNING MY YOUTHFUL STUDENTS!!"
A man in an unusual green jumpsuit pops up. His bowl-cut hair and great eyebrows make me like wow! He smiles brightly. I'm into his smile already!
"I'm Might Guy, your leading jonin. I love youth and fighting my rival Kakashi! I hate losing him. Now introduce yourselves. You first!" He points at me.
"M-Me? I'm Akai Shiyuki. I love reading books, sweet potato, cats, dogs and..." I glance at Neji. Seeing that he's grumpy, I decide to say nothing. "I hate spiders. Very much. By the way I like your smile, sensei!"
"Thank you, you're so youthful too, girl!" He gives a thumb-up.
"I'm Hyuga Neji. I hate the main family and pathetic people, especially her." He gives me a deadly glare. Why do you have to hate me that much? I did nothing wrong to you!
"Call me Rock Lee. I can't do any ninjutsu or genjustu, but I'll prove that I'm still a great ninja!!" I hope so Lee. Do your best!
"That's the spirit!" Guy-sensei pays him a compliment.
"My name is Tenten. I admire princess Tsunade from the bottom of my heart! I want to be like her someday!" Lady Tsunade is famous for being an alcoholic and a big debtor...
"Good! Now you all will do a test to show that you deserve to be a ninja! Fight me! If you can punch, or kick, or whatever once, you all will pass and become a real ninja! Can you do it?"
