Yuri walked out of a small boutique. She was holding a shopping bag. She had bought herself a Mickey Mouse tee shirt. She can't walk around Seoul

with bleeding clothes. She also got Jessica a pair of jeans and a pink tee shirt. Then she stopped at a pharmacy and bought some bandages and

antiseptic.

They had run a couple kilometres away from the orphanage, back to the city, the crowded area of Seoul. Yuri brought Jessica to her temporary hideout,

a place she used to run to when she was a child.

Yuri turned to a small alley when she reached an old abandoned building. Yuri slid inside a small crack on the wall. The crack led her inside the old

building. It was dark at noon, more so at night, but Yuri knew her way exactly. She walked a small staircase leading to a small wooden door. She

pushed it open.

On the other side of the door, a theatre hall came to sight. There was a big stage in front of red audience chairs that lined up on each side. Everything

was in bad condition. The hall used to hold big royal performances. Drama play for nobles, but now it was nothing more than a dusty old building. The

only thing that seemed quite new and well maintained was a grand piano above the stage. It was white and elegant. Yuri came to theatre from time to

time to just play on the piano. She only knew one song though.

Behind the grand piano, a girl was sitting hugging her own knees. "Jessica," Yuri called to her.

Jessica looked at Yuri with her weary eyes.

"I got you some clothes? I don't know your size so I matched it with mine and I? don't know your favourite colour so I got you a pink one, I hope it's

okay. You can't walk around in you pyjama," Yuri put the shopping bag in front of Jessica. She took the clothes and slowly put it beside Jessica.

"There is some curry bread too. You should eat," Yuri took her Mickey Mouse tee shirt and two curry breads and walked to the other side of the stage.

Jessica slowly peeked inside the shopping bag. She sighed. Yuri doesn't seem like a bad person. Maybe she can trust her. But still, she was worry. Or

maybe I could know her better? She saved me in some way after all.

Jessica took the pink tee shirt and the jeans. She went behind the piano to change. It was hard to change clothes with eyes looking straight to Yuri,

worried if she'll take a peek or not.

Yuri sat down and pulled the antiseptic bottle and a clean bandage. She pulled her shirt up a bit, revealing her wound. It was already healing, but Yuri

needed to clean it, she doesn't want an infection. Yuri flinched when the alcohol touched her wound.

"I've met you, haven't I?" Yuri looked back to Jessica and found her half naked.

"Don't look!" Jessica screamed.

"Sorry!" Yuri snapped her head away. Her heart suddenly beat faster. "I was saying?," she stuttered, "I've met you? at the basketball court? it was

you, right?"

Jessica didn't answer.

"Jessica? Are you?," Yuri's stopped when Jessica's hands touched her. Jessica took over the bandage.

"Here," she said and then pushed the bandage gently to Yuri's wound, "you're healing fast."

"Yeah. You too, you know. People like us heal faster than normal people."

Jessica looked to Yuri's eyes, "people like us?"

"Yeah, people like us."

"Tell me about us." Jessica blew air to Yuri's wound.

Yuri clenched her teeth and took a deep breath before she starts her story.

"We are the Gifted. The Gifted are people with an enzyme called Chrysalis in their blood. Chrysalis is an enzyme similar to a material found in rocks that

struck by lightning. So, the Gifted could transfer high voltage electricity from their body."

"Over the time, we developed much more than just transferring electricity. We learned how to move with it. We can produce the electricity itself,

wrapped it around the body and travel with it through the sky, much like a lightning."

Jessica nodded, "so the thunder I saw burning the tree at the courtyard, it was you?"

"Yep."

That didn't make any sense in Jessica's head, but nevertheless, everything she saw tonight was out of human logic, yet it happened.

"Your friend, the one with a padlock necklace, is she a Gifted too?"

"Taeyeon is her name and no she's not a Gifted."

Jessica tilted her head.

"She is a Potential."

"What is a Potential?"

"A person who can do anything she wants."

Jessica blew air to Yuri's wound, "what do you mean?"

"I mean, other than having Chrysalis on her blood, Taeyeon is also capable of doing anything she wants. Move things with her mind, fly without turning

herself to a lightning and something she came up recently is talking to people directly to their minds. She calls it Reaching."

Jessica was getting into the story, "how far could she go with her ability?"

Yuri curled her lips, reminiscing, "I saw her brought someone back to life."

Jessica stopped and swallowed her saliva. Her brain was trying hard to digest the illogical things she heard. How can a petite pale-skinned girl,

possesses such a terrifying power?

"You were saying that people like us, you mean I am a Gifted too?" Jessica put the lid of the alcohol bottle.

"Yes, you are."

Jessica didn't say anything, she stood up and walked to the piano. She sat on its chair and looked to the ceiling.

"The person that got burned when you got stabbed? it was you who did it," said Yuri, "unconsciously."

Jessica didn't argue. Maybe she knew all along, from her visions, her dreams.

"Can we die?"

Yuri chuckled, "we heal fast, but if we got stabbed at our heart or shot at the brain, yes? we'll die."

"So a Gifted is someone who could only plays with electricity while a Potential could do anything?"

"Exactly, you catch up fast," Yuri smiled.

Jessica didn't found any humour in her heart to smile back. "And the people with guns that shot you?"

"Those guys are the organization that despises people like us."

"Why? Why are they aftering us?"

"Well, a Potential, the first Potential, Gaea is her name, declare war to the world. That's why they see us as a threat. It's kinda long story so I'll tell you

later."

"Where is she now?"

"No one knows?."

"But we're not a threat," I? am not a threat,"up until yesterday I was a normal girl."

"Well, they don't think that way."

"What do they think we are?"

Yuri shrugged, "an abomination? A sin? Monsters? Gods?"

Jessica closed her eyes, "you're saying we are like Hercules and Zeus? You believe in Gods?"

"I'm saying why not? People believes in Gods, the name of the days derives from them and we are the living prove."

"So you agree with them? That we are Gods?"

Yuri lied back on the stage floor and she looked up to the ceiling. "No, we're not Gods, that for sure. If we are, we wouldn't be running."

Jessica sighed. This was too much for her, and it all happened in one night.

"You're contradicting on every word," she mumbled.

"I'm sorry? what were we talking about?" Yuri asked cheerfully.

"Never mind. I'll stop asking before it gets too confusing."

Yuri took off her jacket, changed her shirt and ate her bread, "you should sleep. We're going again in the morning."

Yuri watched Jessica lied on her side, back towards her. "Yuri-ssi?"

"Hm?"

"How many more are there? People like us?"

"A lot, all around the world."

Jessica took a deep breath, trying to sleep, "I'm glad I ran into you."

Hyoyeon slammed the door to her office, cursing. Seunghyun was furious. He gave the warrant to Hyoyeon to catch the Potential, instead, the orphanage building was damaged, the Potential got away and they risked opening themselves to public.

That was a bad night.

"The first time we spotted a Potential after a long time and she got away," she clenched her fists.

Maybe the organization needs to focus their attention to Kwon Yuri and Kim Taeyeon first. They were such a threat.

In the agents locker room, Princess stumbled her way to the restroom, she threw up. What have I done today?

Sooyoung went straight to the firing range after the mission. Ignoring her wounds, she practiced her gun skill. Shooting the target until there were

nothing left, roaring out frustration.

Sunny was also frustrated, she walked to her car and hit the steering wheel wildly. She was angry when she heard the report of the day's mission.

One thing she hates the most in this world was a Potential. Things that Potential did to her family, things she will never forgive. Even if it will cost her

own life, she will get the Potential, no matter what.
