I was silent. Eren had dropped the lantern in his hand and fell back. I walk closer to him. Eren reaches for the spear and points it at me. I step back and look away. I hear the sound of Eren standing up slowly. "You have so much to explain" Eren mumbles. I tighten my fists. "I think you should shut your mouth" I snap. Eren shakes his head. "Why do I have to be here?" Eren asks. My jaw tightens and I lose confidence. I wanted to tell him sorry, and how guilty I felt about the deaths I caused. But now I was diffident. "Forget it" I growl. Eren eyebrows arch upward. "No really" he says sarcastically. "I'd love to hear what you have to say". My anger built up. "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE YOU STUPID ORPHAN BOY!!!" I screamed.  Eren says nothing. Then I hear something that makes me sick. Sobbing. I put my hand over my mouth. "I-Im sorry Eren, I d-didn't mean it".  Eren shakes his head. "Man Annie" he scowls. Eren dusts himself off. I sigh. "I really do feel guilty" I whisper. Eren goes silent. I begin to leak tears. "I-I-I" I let out a pathetic cry and stand up, embracing Eren into a hug. "I have hated myself ever since I emerged from the crystal and I hate myself and see myself...as a monster".I can hear his breathing stop. I sigh and bury my face into his chest. Then the most strangest thing happened. I feel tears fall onto my head. Is he crying?  I suddenly let go. Eren closes his eyes. "I'm so sorry Eren" I sigh. Then I gasp when I hear words come from his mouth. "I'm sorry too". I feel tears welling up in my eyes. I stand up straight and salute him. Eren bits his lip. I begin to feel nervous. Just as soon as I was going to let my salute fall, Eren smiles slightly and salutes me back. I smile and remember that this was the boy I had fallen in love with at military camp. The door opens and the freaky girl with glasses grabs Eren's arms. "He'll be back tomorrow" Hanji giggles as if she were some five year old. "He's got a titan spotting to take care of".  I sigh and nod. The door shuts and the sound of jingling metal tells me that the door is now locked. I retreat back to my makeshift bed and curl up. I close my eyes and drift into a dreamless sleep, Eren still poisoning my thoughts
