Cây hoa ăn thịt bị đòn trí mạng của Mặt Đen nhưng không chết. Nó thay hình đổi dạng và lại vươn mình lên, mọc thêm một đài hoa nữa, có phần to lớn hơn trước. Hai đài hoa loe ra như loa kèn hướng chênh chếch lên trời. Những con côn trùng, chim chóc lọt vào đài hoa ấy đều bị biến thành thức ăn cho hoa.

Một con nhện giăng tơ gần đấy tức giận nghĩ:

- Cây hoa này ngày càng bành trướng, tranh hết thức ăn của ta, ta phải xử lý mới được.

Nhện giăng tơ thành những tấm lưới to quây kín khu vực có cây hoa ăn thịt. Từ đó hình thành một màng lưới báo động tự nhiên cho côn trùng, chim chóc. Có những con chim bay tới gần đài hoa, nhìn thấy mạng nhện, liền quay lại. Còn những con cào cào châu chấu hoặc ruồi nhặng... bay đến, liền bị mắc vào bẫy của nhện. Tuy vậy, lưới nhện không thể bao phủ toàn bộ khu rừng, cho nên còn có những chỗ hở ra, khiến cho không ít chim muông, côn trùng vẫn lọt vào làm mồi cho hoa.

Có một con chim nhỏ màu xanh, bạn thân của con Dơi, mặc dù đã được Dơi báo trước về sự nguy hiểm của cây hoa ăn thịt, nhưng do hay làm trái lời khuyên của bạn bè, lại thích tìm thức ăn lạ, cho nên bị sa vào bụng bông hoa. Dơi tức lắm, nghĩ cách diệt bông hoa. Dơi treo mình lên một cành cây cao phía trên bông hoa, hàng ngày phóng uế xuống, đúng giữa loa kèn của hoa. Thế rồi, lại có một con chim sa bẫy hoa. Dơi thấy cần phải nhanh chóng tiêu diệt bông hoa độc ác này, nên kêu gọi cả đàn tới treo mình lên cành cây, thả chất thải xuống bông hoa. Hoa tham lam cứ loe hai cái đài ra mà hứng phân dơi. Ngày qua ngày, phân dơi liên tục lọt vào bụng hoa, tích tụ lại thành khối thuốc nổ khổng lồ. Rồi, một buổi sáng đẹp trời, khối phân dơi tích nhiệt từ cây hoa, nóng lên đủ độ và nổ một tiếng kinh hoàng, xé tan xác cây hoa.

Ấy là lúc chú Lung thực hiện lời hứa dẫn Bi Bi và Mặt Đen vào rừng xem bông hoa ăn thịt. Hai chị em im lặng đi, như chưa hề gặp cây hoa này bao giờ. Cả ba đều ngạc nhiên thấy nơi cây mọc chỉ còn là một hố nông đọng nước bẩn thỉu. Mặt Đen thì thào với Bi Bi:

- Chị ơi, hay là hôm nọ nhát chém của em làm cho cây hoa tan xác?

Bi Bi thì thào:

- Nói khẽ chứ, kẻo lộ hết cả bây giờ.

THE BAT STORY

The carnivorous flower was hit by Black Face's fatal blow but did not die. It changed shape and rose again, growing another sepal, somewhat larger than before. The two flower sepals flare out like trumpets, pointing at an angle to the sky. Insects and birds that enter the sepals are turned into food for the flower.

A spider spinning a web nearby thought angrily:

- This flower tree is expanding more and more, competing for all our food, we have to deal with it.

Spiders spin webs into large nets that cover areas with carnivorous flowers. From there, a natural alarm network is formed for insects and birds. Some birds flew near the flower cup, saw the spider web, and immediately turned back. As for the locusts, grasshoppers or flies... that fly in, they are immediately caught in the spider's trap. However, the spider web cannot cover the entire forest, so there are still openings, allowing many birds and insects to fall in as prey for the flowers.

There is a small blue bird, the Bat's best friend. Although the Bat warned him about the dangers of carnivorous flowers, he often went against his friends' advice and liked to find strange foods. so he fell into the flower's belly. The bat was very angry and thought of a way to destroy the flower. Bats hang themselves on a tree branch high above the flower, defecating every day, right in the middle of the flower's trumpet. Then, there was a bird that fell into a flower trap. Bats felt the need to quickly destroy this evil flower, so they called on the whole flock to hang themselves on tree branches and drop waste onto the flower. The greedy flower keeps spreading its two sepals to catch bat droppings. Day after day, bat droppings continuously entered the flower's belly, accumulating into a giant explosive mass. Then, one beautiful morning, the mass of bat guano accumulated heat from the flower plant, heated up enough and exploded with a terrifying sound, tearing the flower plant apart.

That was when Uncle Lung fulfilled his promise to take Bi Bi and Black Face into the forest to see the carnivorous flower. The two sisters remained silent, as if they had never seen this flower before. All three were surprised to see that the place where the tree grew was only a shallow hole of dirty water. Black Face whispered to Bi Bi:

- Sister, maybe the other day my slash made the flower plant disintegrate?

Bi Bi whispered:

- Speak quietly, otherwise everything will be revealed now.
